Data content
The report contains the following types of data
- decisions made within the specified period of time as a percentage of all decisions covered by the application processing time guaranteenumber of decisions on basic social assistance covered by the application processing time guarantee
- number of decisions made within the specified period of time
- decisions made within the specified period of time as a percentage of all decisions covered by the application processing time guarantee
- average time (in working days) of processing applications that are decided without having to request additional information.
The number of decisions covered by the application processing time guarantee includes the decisions issued on customer applications for basic social assistance.
Applications for basic social assistance must be decided within seven working days of their arrival at Kela. If an application for social assistance arrives at Kela on a Monday, the application must be decided by Wednesday the following week, unless there is a mid-week holiday or there are other equivalent days in between.
If an application is incomplete, the necessary supporting documents must be requested within seven working days, and the application must be decided within seven working days of the arrival of the documents.
