Editorial Board of Research Publications

Published 12.4.2022

The editorial board develops and steers Kela’s scholarly publishing and promotes Kela’s research publications. It takes a stance on the general lines of publishing, for example, the renewing of the research publication series.

A working committee consisting of representatives of the research unit goes through the submitted manuscripts and participates in organising the peer review process.

Research Manager Signe Jauhiainen is the editor-in-chief of research publications and makes the decision to publish a manuscript in Kela’s publication series or as a stand-alone publication. The editor-in-chief bases their decision on the working committee’s recommendation.

Manuscripts are sent to Tarja Hyvärinen (tutkimusjulkaisut@kela.fi), the senior publishing editor.
