Principles of Publishing
All published manuscripts must produce new or better-structured information.
We use the Federation for Finnish Learned Societies’ peer review label in our peer-reviewed publications, and we comply with the requirements set for the use of the label (tsv.fi).
All published research must be related to social security and health or sociopolitical themes relevant to Kela’s operations and operational environment.
A manuscript submitted to be published must be previously unpublished. A previously published manuscript may be published as a translation if it is seen to serve the needs of our readers. The original publication, or manuscript if not yet published, must be attached to such manuscripts. A written consent from the original publisher is required before Kela can publish the manuscript.
A manuscript published by Kela may be published elsewhere only with a permission from Kela and the author.
