Maternity package survey 2025

The survey looks at the experiences of families that received the maternity grant benefit in 2022 or 2023 and how satisfied they were with the items in the maternity package, and invites parents to say what changes they would like to see in the package. The study also examines the views that parents have about parenting and the new family leave system, preparing the ground for an evaluation of the 2022 family leave reform.

Targeted at around 4,000 mothers and fathers / second parents, the survey will be carried out electronically early in 2025.
