Muutos II Research Project

Muutos II studies the reforms concerning the organising of Kela’s rehabilitation: the registration procedure, commodification, i.e. realisation of new service descriptions, and the new ways of referring to and applying for rehabilitation. The project consists of multiperspective and multimethod implementation studies.

Muutos II comprises two large studies: the registration trial REKKU and the study on the implementation of NUOTTI coaching. Both studies include several substudies carried out by different researcher groups.

The registration trial REKKU includes two substudies: Implementation of Rehabilitation According to new Service Descriptions carried out by South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences Xamk and Kela and Prices and Markets carried out in Kela’s Research Unit.

The NUOTTI project includes three substudies: Häme University of Applied Sciences HAMK studies the referring of clients to the coaching as well as its implementation and effects, and Kela Research studies applying to NUOTTI coaching. Finally, the Institute of Rehabilitation at Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences Jamk studies the interaction in the oral application.
