Presentation

I am a research manager at Kela’s Research Unit. My research areas include, in particular, absences due to sickness compensated by sickness allowance and disability pensions and, more broadly, register-based research on sickness benefits. Recent studies have covered topics such as demographic trends in sickness absences, incidences and lengths of sickness allowance periods, factors predicting retirement on disability pension, and the use of social and healthcare services in different populations.
