I am a research manager at Kela’s Research Unit, and I am conducting register-based research particularly on medicines and the pharmaceutical sector from a societal perspective. I am responsible for the research related to the Kanta services. I also support other researchers in the use of data from the Kanta services’ Prescription Centre. In addition to research, my work includes expert tasks related to medicines and the pharmaceutical sector, such as evaluation statements on the reimbursement of medicinal products and their reasonable wholesale prices.
