Regional Differences in Rehabilitation

The aim of this study is to analyse the phases of client processes in rehabilitation referrals in terms of differences between hospital districts and the reasons behind those differences. Factors enabling and preventing access to Kela’s rehabilitation are of particular interest in this study. The subject is studied from the perspective of the rehabilitation system and based on a theoretical analysis of service availability. The goal of the study is to produce new information on the regional availability of rehabilitation from the perspectives of the rehabilitation system and client processes.
