Presentation

I am a researcher at Kela’s Research Unit. My research area is rehabilitation research. Currently, I am looking at the effects and role of self-rehabilitation in rehabilitation services provided by Kela. The study is part of the research project Muutos III.

My previous research projects have related to regional differences in access to Kela rehabilitation, rehabilitation of children, adolescents, and families with an immigrant background, rehabilitation for chronic pain, training try-outs arranged as Kela’s vocational rehabilitation, and rehabilitation for people with problem gambling and gaming.

Self-Rehabilitation in Rehabilitation Services Organised by Kela

The objectives of the study are to find out what kind of effects self-rehabilitation interventions have been observed to have, what is meant by self-rehabilitation in Kela’s rehabilitation, and how the implementation of self-rehabilitation can be promoted.
